How we work with the NDIS:

The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a wonderful government initiative that provides participants with a “reasonable and necessary” plan based on the evidence that has been provided for your child to reach their goals.

Our team has many years of experience in supporting parents to navigate the the NDIS system and processes. Our reports are designed to clearly communicate your child’s need for early intervention therapy and a recommendation for an integrated therapy approach. Our inter-disciplinary team will case conference to ensure we are recommending the most beneficial early intervention treatment plan for each child and their family.

Many parents enrolling at the CDI, are often accessing NDIS funding for the first time. We can provide useful tips and guidance to help parents understand the process, what they can request, and how to present the evidence to secure an appropriate plan for their child.

We can also support families through the review process and Administrative Appeals Tribunal process if they are not happy with the funding of their plan.

To ensure we are staying up-to-date with the ever-changing NDIS landscape, we collaborate closely with a consultant, Footprints Advocacy, who specialise in helping parents advocate for their child to secure NDIS funding.
